I splashed my 22zx or he first time of the season the end of last week. She had just ben summerized so when the throttle cutout on me suddenly I figured it was bad gas or something to do with sitting up the past several months. I then found that she only dies when I go WOT at 4000rpm. She's fine pulling out of the hole wide open, but at high RPM's she bogs out and revs drop to zero. I can get full RPM's gradually, but not if I romp down when cruisin at moderate speed. When I'd back of he throttle while she was dyin, rpm's would kick back in.

An ideas on what I need to check to trouble shoot?

2001 22ZX with a 454MAG EFI

I'd really appreciate an assessment of my issue or help to troubleshoot problem....

Thanks!

Sounds right... felt like she wasn't inhaling enough juice. Filter makes sense.. I'll go there first. Thanks!

Dump the fuel filter, that would be my prime suspect. Then I would check the fuel pump pressure, although I doubt it would go bad just sitting for the winter.

You are probably not getting enough boost. You probably need a blower.:pimp:
