I don't know what this is? This guy is asking $1200....looks like a 57 chevy with a johnson on the back. this really looks like a car, the wings and even the top of the boat looks like the roof of a car.

maybe... although the boat I found has a fiberglass or metal roof over the passenger area which looks like the top of the car

It looks like a 17' aristrocraft with the removable hardtop from mid 60's.

Don, I would agree. Looks like my Father in Laws old boat but he had an I/O.

I could not wait to answer until I saw you guys had a grip on it, I had several in out rack storage years back. We had one with a Merc 4 cylinder that the top could be slid back on tracks, there were not many small boats with hard tops one of my favorites was the Glastron Scimitar in the link below. One was used in a Bond movie years back with a wing all the usial Bond Goodies! There is one locally that I get the itch to try and buy every now and then, but getting to old for another project!

this one is only $1,200. would be glad to take a look at it. I thought it was pretty cool looking. Now I know why people call old cars boats and not just because they were so big.

I don't know why , but i always wondered if a 1959 chevy / gm windshield had the same dimensions as the early 17' aristrcrafts .

There was a really nice one restored for sale up on Lake Hopactong last year for 2500.00 I was so tempted as it was a 1969 just like the one my father bought new white with the red top.
