what to look for in a z21 before buying?????

hello,
I'm going to look at a 1987 z21 with a 454 alpha. the owner stated that the floor has a soft spot where the passenger seat is and the gel is kinda faded. the trim tab gauge doesn't work and the speed doesn't ether. I think i can pick this up for 6000. I would really like your opinion on the price and what to look for before buying this. thank you for your time.

Sounds like a project and for that price it better come with a really nice trailer, besides I never liked BBs with Alphas.
