Stock 350 with alpha's just under 60...

When I had my stock 350 Magnums with the original props my dad was right on, actually recall seeing 60 on the gps one time. I now have 330hp 350 Vortecs with 23 Mirage plus props on alphas, and I now see speeds on GPS 63-64 consistently, needs some good big chop though!

HEY HEY!
I know cams will do a lot for it! I'm already running on the edge with my alpha drives! Find me some bravos and Hyd steering and I'll go nuts. I actually travel with a spare alpha with me. Although they have held up very good, i've only lost one in 5 years!

Hey DONZ33, I see you're from the Chain of Lakes. You ever run out on lake Michigan? I'm out there all the time, usually more on the Michigan side, but I run around Chicago and Indiana at times. We'll have to meet out on the lake, not a fan of the Chain though, I'm not familiar enough and it's way to shallow for me.

matt, the only lake you have to worry about is grass lake!

If you stay in between the buoys on grass lake you wont have any problems..all the other lakes and shallow spots have been dredged for the last 10 years..theirs allot of places to go,fuel, eat, hangout tied up to other boats... then theirs blarney's island...if you want to come out let me know and pic a weekend that's good for you and ill show you around.

fixx

That must be one of those special speedometers that they only give to a U.S.C.G. Lic. Master Captain.

...............I'm gonna become a captain, so I can get one :)

The easiest way to pick up speed is to drill out the pickup for the speedometer. :)
