We don't have time to go into that here. I suggest we impanel a blue-ribbon bipartisan coalition to look into this translation and have them report back to us at a later date. I believe a panel of 12 congressmen along with a support staff of 60 each should be able to get this information to us within the next 6 to 9 months. I would move that we immediately fund this critical national safety coalition with an initial sum of $100 million. This should be enough funding to get the basic infrastructure in place so we can determine the full extend of funding needed to complete the project.

As an aside, I would like to add to this bill a measure that will provide $300 billion to fund building a new high-speed train from LA to San Francisco. It has nothing to do with the above bill at all, or national security, but what the heck - I know you can't vote against it or you'll get killed in the next election.

(WSB Radio) 4th District Congressman Hank Johnson is now backing away from an outlandish suggestion he made to a United States Navy admiral last week that the Pacific island of Guam could  tip over and capsize if too many U.S. Marines are stationed there. Johnson said "my fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize."
In an interview with Channel 2 Action News, the Decatur Democrat said he was kidding and simply speaking metaphorically to make a point during the committee hearing.
Johnson said "I can say things that are quite humorous and not smile about it and it leads people to think about what I said."
The uncomfortable verbal exchange between Johnson and Admiral Robert Willard, commander of the Navy's Pacific fleet, has been viewed more than 200,000 times on YouTube.

What about compassion for this country? If he is too ill to carry out his job, he should step down. I don't feel an ounce of compassion for someone that stupid, no matter what the reasons. That poor admiral didn't know what to say to some of his idiotic questions. I wish the politions would quit trying to run the military, and let the men trained to run the military do their jobs.

I'm sorry you feel that way but whether you realize it or not your world is and has been effected by those politics and very soon those new laws and financial guidelines will limit and control the way you use to live your life.
I hope you stay healthy too because you will soon have political Washington lawyers practicing medicine forcing your doctor and surgeon to wait for Govt approval before treatment can be performed and then you'll be put on a waiting list for that free over crowded medical clinic instead of the better major hospitals that once existed.

Nothing in this world is actually free, especially if you die waiting for it!
