Guys I am heading to Perdido Key for a long Easter break. I find myself visiting the same places by boat year after year. Anybody have some ideas for boating fun from Mobile Bay to Destin? Thanks

I live in Gulf Breeze, across the bay from Pensacola. In Gulf Shores, west of Perdido Key you can go to Lulu's on the IC, on Pensacola Beach you can visit Portofino Boardwalk, several watering holes and restaurants there. Navarre Beach has Juana's Pagoda. Helen Back at Ft. Walton and of course anywhere in Destin harbor. I will be at Lulu's either Saturday or Sunday having lunch with Tom West (FishinSucks) and his family. My Donzi will be down for a couple of weeks, I'll be traveling by car.

+1 on the pensacola beach boardwalk. There is another place near there straight across from the public boat launch in a canal. I can't think of the name...

A great run, if you are up for it, is Destin. Great places there!!!

Give me a call when you are in the area. As I posted earlier, the wife and I are meeting Tom West, FishinSucks at Lulu's for lunch Saturday. Tom lives in Indiana and spring-breaks in Gulf Shores. We always meet at Lulus', eat, drink and shoot the $#!^....It would be cool if you could join us.
Shoot me a PM and I'll give you my phone number. I think my phone number is on my profile page???

That is the place!!! First place I ever went to as an official Donzi owner. A bit embarrassing because I had half candy striped interior on an at the time Dark Red / Gray Minx but it was still a great time. I have to find those pictures

Anyway... peg legs has a great on the water ambiance. A shanty of sorts.

The food there is GREAT!!! The boat ramp you mentioned is Shoreline Park South. I launch there. I live on the north side of Gulf Breeze, I have to drive 1.5 miles to get to the boat ramp. I am a member of Pensacola Beach Elks Lodge 497. It is on Little Sabine Bay, has boat slips and a Great Sunday Brunch. During the July Blue Angels Air show on the beach, you cannot believe how many boats are in the area.
