All:
Casting about and came accross a well maintained 92 18C with a 5.8 Cobra EFI and what appears to be an OMC drive. Appears original. Any comments, thoughts, opinions?
Thanks,

We had a '92 with a carb'd 5.8 and a King Cobra....boat moved along nice, and never had any problems with the motor or drive, other then flooding issues (which EFI would fix)

That is a nice package very durable, have it checked by a mechanic if all is well got for it.

I've got a 1991 18c sbc chevy/king cobra w/ roller motor, alum. heads, intake, stainless marine exh, msd ign, nose cone etc. I love it, never a problem.

I believe that is the same as the later Volvo SX drives? If so they are bulletproof.

I am pretty sure by then all 5.8's had the King Cobra, real easy to tell if it has a pronounced hump on top you are golden it is almost impossible to break!
