Who makes the jumper cable terminal attachment that donzi is using under the rear seat of the 2002 and later 22ZX. White plastic block with a divider, two battery terminals with red and black plastic caps.

This allows you to jump the electrical system with the battery dead and the hatch down.

Somebody, Perko, Carling, blue sea, Moeller has got to make this terminal - anyone know how to find it.

I can't remember what mine look like exactly but I think they are pretty generic... check here: http://www.pitstopusa.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=94

I often see on here where people have issues when the battery is dead and lifting the engine hatch. On my 98 22zx ,if the battery is dead you can still lift the hatch manually. Not saying its light, but you can still lift it and put a charger to battery and then raise hatch with power. Well...just saying...

Eddie Marine makes some nice ones. I think I've seen others though.

After I remove the batteries to winterize mine I plug into the 12v outlet near the steering wheel and close or open the hatch that way. The fuse that came in that circuit is 5amp. The hatch lift motor will blow that fuse so I will replace it with a 20amp fuse and go slow and make sure the wires don't heat up. When I'm done I reinstall the correct 5amp fuse. It's worked for me. And I always carry my jump box with me in case I run low on juice one day.

I have seen and have recommended the jumper setups you talk about, but just last week I ran into something that the guy says he has had for eight years. Instead of adding a jumper block by the seat he ran #4 cable to his stern tow eyes, I said that could be dicey. He says he has not had one single issue and plus you can't die from 12 volts and they are six feet apart, he can reach them easily from the dock when the batteries are low. After seeing it I am thinking I may run some #10 to a Guest Isolator to keep my batteries topped while under cover on the trailer.
