I am just wondering about this thing, my initial reaction is no good and I would just drown myself with it, but I thought I would post it just to see. I have never seen anything like this anywhere! but if it works??? it would save a lot of summer scum on the bottom. I just don't know how you would keep the prop from chewin' it up, push it in and out I guess.

considering that I get crap growing in my toilets and that is fresh water I can't see how keeping your boat surrounded in the same crappy water can do anything other than attract mosquitoes.

The places that have the best record with bottom growth have the most flow not the least.

I don't know what brand they were, but I've seen a few of these sort of things. None of them seemed to work worth a darn.

Would this be a valid alternative?

kinda what I thought, no good, and never even thunk about the skeeters!:shocking:The wife would love that!
I have looked at those boxes that you build together, but I really don't have the room, and I don't know if I could even get my carver up on em' plus I wold have to pull my top down, plus the rod holders etc. to get it under the dock roof, same reason I can't really use a hydrohoist, but thanks for the input

Sounds like if you can't raise the bridge you'll have to lower the water.

Build a water tight concrete seawall around your cruiser with a sea locke gate, then pump the water out and sit her on a cradle secured to the bottom when you're thru for the day.
Except you'll have to ask someone like Bill Gates to fund this project. :bonk:

The Jet Dock is an excellent product, we have it for a ski boat.

Great idea, instead of lifting the boat, lower the water...

If I built the wall, then I would have to climb down 10 feet with the ladder, and I am way to fat n lazy for that(LOL),

With Billy Gates funding this project for you i'm sure it will include a powerlift with a fully stocked wetbar and a fancy spiral staircase.
WooHoo!
