Blackhawk for sale

Not mine but I saw at the Boston Boat Show that a guy at Northeast Yacht Brokerage is selling his bought new 1995 22 Blackhawk.

It is the hull/boat that was on the cover of Motorboating in December 1994. Eagle style.

Guy claims 83 and his speedo probably says that.

Truth is more like 77-78. I recall an article back in the day when they tested that boat that they got one to go over 80mph.

It's not clear in either adds ,If the current owner(s) were or are the original owner(s),The craigslist boat, has been for sale for quite some time. I really tend to doubt that there would be 2 identical boats so close together. But Hey! you never know!:wink:

This is one pretty Blackhawk.

I have had mine in the mid 80's, ....but when it is in the water, mid 70's.

Incidentally, how well will this boat handle without external steering?

The fastest any of my boats have ever gone is on the trailer...I have a 15' Whaler that has done over 80mph..
