Anybody need new seat shells for the classic line? I just talked to PPI interiors in Bradenton Fl. and the girl there said I could get brand new shells and foam kits for a 16 for $300 a piece.

The bucket seat shells? they are fiberglass, what is wrong with yours?

They are factory shells as PPI provides the seats for Donzi. I don't have any, bought my 16 as a recovered theft, the only thing they left was the steering wheel/helm. Been looking for a set on here but no luck! So I'm thinkin I'm gonna have to buy them new, tryin to put the boat back together as original as possible.

is it the whole seat then, cover included?

otherwise you can buy the shells from the source. I just need to remember who sold them. I do remember them being much cheaper than 300.

Shells and foam no covers. I have searched everywhere for them, PPI was the only place I found, so any help would be much appreciated. The girl at PPI did mention that if they don't have the shells in stock they would have to order them, so the outside source makes sense.

Bob from biltRite is on here (knots2u I think is his log in) I know he knows where the seats are from.

$300 for foam and a shell is beyond high in my opinion. The whole interior from PPI for a 22 I think is 2300 and that includes new seat shells, foam, and covers for the front two seats and the back seat.

A local upholstery shop might be able to get the seats too.

hang in there.. .someone will chime in with more info unless I can remember who the dang supplier is. :bonk:

Bilt Rite made their own shells.

Ken is correct. We made the shells out of fiberglass and starboard. If you really want rotocast shells.....rotonics.com (http://rotonics.com)
