I checked FL and it still has a valid registration. Is owner info obtainable?

My uncle wants his car back... wants to send a letter or something to the guy.

My brother in law is a Sheriff but says he can't get the info.

Car was traded in to Esserman Nissan in Miami in 1993 with approx. 11k miles on it. 1989 Red Corvette. Black top, black interior.

I too would be interested in knowing if I could find out if any of my old cars and trucks are still around, like you there are a few I would love to buy back but that info is not given out to the general public.:cool:

ill see what i can do tomarrow! ( me being in a differant state i dont know if i can get that info)but if you need that info i suggest to contact someone who repo's cars.They can get any info on car's vins with their skiptrace software..

Carfax will only give the city and state it is registered in, if it has a current registration.

Really? That's interesting. I always thought they only had jurisdiction in the county they were appointed to. Although, all of the deputies do attend the same academy that kind of makes sense.

Sorry vette i cant do nothing for you, a friend suggested yo write the fl dmv a letter and theirs a 5 dollar fee and they will send you the information..
