Great Before/After pictures!

Try resizing the pictures, and giving them a different name. I have had success "re-posting" pictures doing that. Just renaming them didn't work for me.

Right click on the picture you want to repost. A drop down box will open, click on "properties". Another box opens and there will be an URL that will appear in it. Copy the URL.
When writing your post, include this bit of code;
.
Then paste the saved URL in the code.
Like: URL address
Your picture will appear where the code was.
It is important to resize most pictures before doing this because most cameras take pictures that are over 30" wide.
I try to resize to 11" X 8 1/2".
I use Photo Shop, but there's a lot of free and inexpensive programs to do this

Nice words from a man pretty well known for changing a few things on a 16

It was fun for me to finally get those pics loaded and see the changes myself Its been a while and I still have a few pretty big ones to do this spring

Parnell, very nice

on the very first pic I see (closed) lower and quite wide exhausts which have been changed to higher, narrower ones.
You know something about this change?

Cheers, Axel

Hi Axel
The lower ones on the original pic, that were covered up with leaking steel plates when I bought it :nilly: are the holes I have no idea about. The higher ones were what was there when I bought it and it had stock merc manifolds with straight tailpipes out the back. I glassed over the whole transom and started over, this pic shows the transom ground, sanded and ready to fill holes. I now have imco powerfloww exhaust with s pipes that take it under the waterline so no noise at idle

Parnell, thanks for the info. Mine will be quite low and wide apart as well because of the Olds/Hardin exhaust layout, so I was just curious- but a 16" with an Olds 455 would have been bizarre, or?

It most certainly did not have a 455 olds in it! It was a remanufactured small block with 26-300 horses I assume I don't even know how fast it went before I tore it down but it wasn't setting the world on fire
