it kinda looks like a 24' doral but it sure ain't a donzi..i would have to agree with buiz on the stingray...i haven't seen a donzi tie in their windshield like that one towards the rear of the boat..

In '89 there would be a HIN on the transom.

Cruisers Inc did a similar version...? IMO the sharp drop at the stern is not a Donzi..........?

Yeah Walt I checked all the model years but the GT dosen't have a 2 piece front glass. My preminition is the listor probably used donzi as a key word for his add.Kinda like my customers referring to my Formula as a Cig boat. Just a theory though.

Very similar to the Minx hull. Hard to tell with the one picture. It does seem to have the Euro transom. Seeing as how this is the start of the OMC years. It could very well be a Bastard Donzi that was dropped from the line up for lack of interest,or even a transition boat that was built by
Genth & Houser 85-88, for the 1989 model year, but was dropped by Omc when they bought out the company. Very well possible that Omc as new owners of Donzi Wer trying to stream line the company and bean counted this boat out of existence, where it was never even considered to be in existence:bonk:. In the back of my mind "Like a ghost" I thought I read some where that there was indeed a modified Minx hull, just at the end of its production run.

I'm very interested in what the HIN has to say.

"Could this be the rarest Donzi"?:shocking:

1of 1:eek: a Z20?:boggled:

"foot notes"

In 1989 OMC (Outboard Marine Corp.) purchased Donzi, but the marriage proved a poor one when OMC dramatically cut back on Donzi’s production and changed the power from MerCruiser to Cobra.

WAUKEGAN, Ill., Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Outboard Marine Corp. (OMC) (NYSE: OM) today reported losses for its 1990 fiscal year and fourth quarter, which ended Sept. 30.
