...by trying to come up with a "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" poem with a Donzi Boat theme.....

I'll start...

'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house,

Not a propeller was turning, not even for a mouse (remember the mouse-trap thingy ) :)

While visions of Donzi Girls danced in my head.....

....chime in somebody.....

While visions of Donzi Girls danced in my head.....
I had a box of bikini's, the color of red...

All of a sudden, out on the lake
A Donzi blew by leaving a wake

Ghost

Away in pursuit I took off like a flash
Slamming the throttle straight down on the dash

With my wife reeling backward, and my beer in my lap...

From the engine I heard a RAP RAP RAP

BUIZILLA

Carl C

It blew away
It was on my lap...

Now Dasher! Now Dancer! Now Prancer and Vixen
Let's get this thing done though the charts are all missin'

Also it seems that our motor did stall
So dash away, dash away, dash away all

Ghost

You could hear me exclaim, as I helped up my wife...

"...that's what 500 horses can do...isn't this the life ?"

Asleep in my berth, and nothing else seemed to matter,
when all of a sudden, there arose such a clatter...

I flew to the bridge to check for warning lights a-glow...

but as it turns out, it was the Hedge and Tex Show....

...and then he appeared, the one who is so jolly...., why yes it is George..the one with the dolly...

...dressed in red from sanding his Testarossa,.....

And all of the children arose with glee
To find piles of presents stacked under the tree

But this year things were a little bizzare
The gifts were delivered via Donzi ZR

mattyboy

and when all the excitement was thru,
he heard a noise and in a momnent he knew
that his motor blew.

so he went to the back at turned the latch
and pulled open the hatch.

I heard him exclaim OOOHHHHHH WTF!!!
then he said to his helper go back in the truck

so onto the trailer he did pop
for the long ride back to his shop.

but he rolled down the window as he put it in gear

and said with a snarl I'll see you next year!!!!!

and once he recovered from his mechanical grog

he realized someone had spiked his egg nog

Santa figured "there's no use in cryin'"
Tomorrow I'll take the boat in to Brian

So he sat back and rested and enjoyed his high
For he knew when he was billed that he would indeed cry

mike o
12-25-2009, 10:52 AM
when the crying subsided, he finally decided, the old and tired 502, should become something BLUE..........:kingme:

Ed Donnelly

But if no donations come
He will resort to a canoe

mike o
12-25-2009, 12:18 PM
But if no donations come
He will resort to a canoe Oh no my fell-o Irishmen, a canoe will not do There is only one engine, that really will do. And the color of engine, really must be BLUE. It seems to be a trend, that probably wont end. Since the blue colored engine's separates the boys from MEN..........:kingme:

Ed Donnelly
12-25-2009, 12:42 PM
Well Santas no sissy
He will drive what he must
Even if it is blue
And all covered in rust

Ghost
12-25-2009, 05:18 PM
Well old Blue was so strong that his alpha's gone bad
So he's next year he's decided to ask for a Konrad...

Carl C
12-25-2009, 05:55 PM
Then will come the external steering
Or there will be no end to the jeering

Ghost
12-25-2009, 07:20 PM
Which began with the shorts

that match the gel spec
And the cuddy carved out

up under the deck

They brought ribs, jabs and taunts

From boats old and boats new

But the twenty-two fleet

All wants them now too

Phil S
12-25-2009, 08:39 PM
....so with the spring boating season nearing
he began mounting his external steering....

Phil S
12-25-2009, 09:04 PM
a tad tired he was, he grabbed a Mimosa..

As he headed back north, Santa did call
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all...........
