I would think that would be the case as it is much older than a 68

What should this boat sell for realistically? I think it would be a fun little boat for my my wife. What should I look out for?

Thanks,

Daniel

I went and Looked it over and the dealer who was selling it said to anyone really interested he would give you the owners number so you could talk direct to him , the boat has been for sale since June so hitting him with a lowball offer would not be out of the question but I know the gas tank would be the first issue as well as the stringers which looked fine when i inspected the boat but Im no pro and the trailer seemed a little rough to but def a neat boat with a some work. There is a sweet 16 1999 in fort Myers i went and looked at that is kinda faded but mechanically 100% with very low hours and he was asking 7800 and it is still on the market so you could probally buy it very cheap and have a much more sound boat

Looks like a solid little boat to me. A little detail work, (gauges, ditch the carpet, etc,) and it would probably be a great little boat for Travis.

I bought my '70 18 in much the same condition, and have had a ball with it. I haven't (and won't) restored it. I keep a fresh coat of wax on it, and keep the fuel turned over pretty regular and have not had any issues. The tank is original, btw.

I'd offer around 5k...

PM me for more info...

Jim

Thanks for the info. I went by this afternoon but they close at 2. I didn't see it out there but maybe it was in back.
