i have a 97 18 classic that i put a 400 horse 383 in.I put a steering stabilizer on it for safty im currantly running a alpha with a 23 rev 4 that is the fastest prop i have run on the boat at 72 mph what other things can i do to get more speed? Bravo how much would i gain? any info would be helpful thank you

You'll lose w/the Bravo.
What is your goal.
That's pretty good for an 18.

I had a slightly heavier '88 Baja Sunsport 196 with a 400HP 383 and a Alpha SS drive. It ran 74.6 MPH with a labbed 25P Mirage Plus prop. We did a back to back test within an hour with a standard Alpha and the boat lost exactly 5 MPH!
