I finally installed my new drive shower this weekend.... After launching the boat in the lake i was too curious as to what was going on back there so I had my girlfriend drive the boat, and I hung my self off the transom and was shocked at how awesome this thing works!!! Check out the pics taken at 35 mph and you guys can judge for yourselves as to the effectiveness of these showers.

I had the Simrek drive shower on my 2001 C18 and it was awesome!

My only problem was that the Mud Daubers (wasps) thought it was a really excellent place to build a nest as well. So I kept flushing it frequently to keep it flowing freely...until they finally won the battle. LOL! There is no easy way to "rout" it out, so eventually it became permanently blocked.

So, here is an idea for those with this unit. Put some tape over the holes when you put the boat away. Takes just a couple minutes each time. Makes happy boating(and angry wasps. LOL!).
