Steve...so far so good:thumbsup:...I have yet to run her in a 1-2 ft chop but im going out on a limb and gonna say I'll still enjoy it...yesterday on flat conditions it handled great...at 83 it was solid, stable and fly'n level ..

Those are the ones that they use in the Baja's.

I run both a Gaffrig and Lowrance side by side just for the nay sayers. :nilly::nilly: I have not had any doubts from folks that actually ride in my boat. Or with my at a Poker Run either.

Congrads on the numbers Air. Looks like a lot of fun. 84 in a classic = large time.

Come to think of it, I have not done 84 in a classic. We need to do something about that at AOTH. Paging the suspects wielding 500 and up hp in a classic....it will be time for a ride.

Like the RedDog says, 60ish is just fine for some of us, but blessing on those with DEEP pockets that are on the quest for MO SPEED! Making my hiney pucker just thinking about 80 - 90 mph. Might even get me back in my CC with a cold beverage putting around the lake! NAH!

Cool, it was only a matter of time. I expect you to drive safe especially with the family- no race is worth that. Seat time and don't push it. Bad habbits are the hardest to break.

Glad to hear that you are finding more speed, Dwight. It does take a while to get these boats to their full potential after a repower.

Air, not putting you in that category, I said that for some others to As an old racer I just had to say it.

I knew you'd like it. The shorty is a great mod for these boats.

Or 4??

I've been wanting to run one but -2 will put me up 3.5"; may be too high but then I could always space down. It's either this or a blower and at least with the short leg I don't have to tell the insurance company I have more HP. You guys at lower elevation are killing me since all I can pull is 75 at my elevation.

I wish I would have tried the leg that DonCig had a few years back.
