1976 TR or TRS OUTDRIVE & TRANS

I purchased a 24' Searay. It has a 260 Merc with I think a TR or TRS outdrive, coupled to a merc2 trans. The motor is seized in the boat which i have a crate motor to replace it and an MR outdrive and transom assembly. I am pondering wether to keep the OD and Trans in the boat or just swap everything. The issues that will determine this is are parts available for these units and if i did decide to sell the trans an OD what would be a fair price to ask?

I can tell you that overall, the TRS is about as bulletproof a setup as you can get - not the fastest, though. Bill
