Lunch Hook

Our danforth is too much trouble to get out of the engine compartment so I went looking for a smaller hook.
I found this plow type "Lunch Hook" at West Marine, added 2' of 1/4" chain. Very small so it fits in the hold between the seats on a 22C.
Rated (4.4#s) for a smaller boat but it holds fine in sand and a light sea.

I have a fair amount of experience with plows, with good scope even a small one will dig its self in good and deep. If you do get into a situation add more line it will surprise you. Good Pick!
