my dryer no hot air

have a 8 year old kenmore clothes dryer suddenly stoped blowing hot air everything seems to work fine just blows cool air clothes dont dry

If its gas it could be the ignitor, they are simular to ones in furnaces, and will crack. If its electric the heating coil is a posiblity. You will have to take it apart to ck both and see if the are functioning.

Gas or electric? My gas dryer stopped blowing heat about a month after I got it. Turns out it was the heating coil. Somehow the thing just shattered. Maytag repairman replaced it under warranty, and it's been fine since.
