BUT---
Break out your jigsaw and cut-it-out again and install that Big 455 Olds with the Berleley jet pump !
Your Donzi was a Berkeley waterjet when it was new!
It is crying out for a new 455 and jet pump!
My uncle had a Donzi X18 new in the 70s with the 455 OLDS/ Berkeley jet drive!
It was spectacular !
Nothing like it !
Great super performance & FUN!
It would be a rare Donzi indeed!
I promise you will not be sorry if you again installed this waterjet drive!

You bet! Just one week and than I have two weeks off from work- perfect to work on my GT... will see how far I get with installing engine :)

Brad,

the guys who had/have a jet swear on it, the others don't... My jet is a Jacuzzi, looks smaller than the Berkeley but shouldnot make any difference. I take your advice and think strongly about it, that's for sure.
