Having a brain fart moment. Does the angle go toward the center or to the outside of the transom?

Toward the center, it allows you to mount them closer to the drive without blowing the prop out.

I sorta think I can see in this picture, but I won't lead the witness...
Just took a better look at the tabs!!!! They are the same basic design as the Arneson rocker plates, the plate bends instead of using a hinge. They mount perfectly flush with the bottom of the boat. They are power up and down when you raise them they help to lift the bow. From some previous discussions they can cause some problems making the boat hook in turns, I think you should get some more input before taking the advice in my first post. They may have been cut to alleviate the hooking issue! You will need two separate trim pumps to use them. You may be ahead of the game shopping some regular tabs.

Do some poking around about the handling characteristics with that type of tab so you have an idea of what is what, you should be able to dig up info on the Arnesons it would be similar.
