Have a 23P RH Quad IV O/T with a 1" merc hub. O/T is an outboard prop. Has a smaller exhaust ring, is 14 3/4 diameter and gives a tad more lift than the straight Quad IV.

Works very well on SS equipped 16's and 18's FWIW...

Like brand spankin new. Only been run a couple of times before I sold the 16.

Thanks for the quick reply. I want to match it to a LH 23P for the Bravo 1 with the conventional hub and no exhaust ring that I found on Ebay for my 36' Cigarette. I forgot to mention the one I am after is # HC-CL23R. Still looking, Bill

Mike,
Thanks for the tips. I had already contacted Dwight (I hope I have his name correct), but he had sold it on ebay a couple weeks ago. The other set is a great price, but I need to find a match to the 23L I already bought on ebay. I want to try the 23s from the 22s that are on the Cigarette now. The 22s are pretty close to being perfect, but I am hoping to spin the 23s at the same 5400RPMs with the sleeker drives. If it can do it, that would get the boat to the upper 60s (3MPH gain). Bill

you would be surprised what lowering your rpm's would do also..Bill you dont need to turn a 540 at 5400 to get more speed, their torque monsters and will probably spin those 24's at 5200 which would put your cruise speed at lower rpms which would probably give you more GPH :) Which heads do those 540's have on them..

They are the tall blocks with Merlin heads. I might go ahead and get those 24s anyway. They would be at the top end of what I might expect to run so they might tell me something. I would think they would be easy to sell if they didn't work out. Thanks, Bill

Mike,
I went ahead and bought these from the seller, Jason. I am still looking for a RH 23 Hydromotive, though. The LH came in today's mail. I should have some comparisons soon, and I can sell the ones that don't work as well. Thanks again, Bill

Greg,
Like I told Rootsy, I am looking for a RH 23P QIV Intimidator with a 1" shaft sizing (or the square bore) - the regular QIV, not the O/T that you bought from Rootsy which is designed for outboards. I want to match it to a LH 23P for my twin engine Cigarette. Thanks, though. Bill
