Had to do a little work on a local 22, had a dead gas gauge. Boat has a newly rebuilt full roller motor which is suppose to make decent HP, speaking to the owner it only gets into the high 50's due to and un painted bottom in salt water! His favorite past time item was aboard!

Nice fade of the gel on the bow stripe as it goes aft !!!!! That owner will wonder why the boat won't sell when the time comes.:bonk:

I have no idea what I'm looking at .

What is that thing that looks like a mutated rake?

Unpainted bottom...sitting in salt water... He needs that rake to clean his bottom.

Northerners do not see too many clam rakes.

First time I ever saw a Donzi Clam boat!
In South Jersey they use old half rotten wooden garveys for clamming ! Great low water boats.
Tell this guy to use Micron ablative bottom paint ~ every time you go fast you clean your bottom; or better yet buy a boat-lift !
When I painted my 24' American Skier Eagle 454 Cu In Skiboat
with Micron I lost about 8% of my top speed !
I hate to use antifouling bottom paint~ but it is necessary in NJ salt water!
