I am new to this site, but thought I would say hello and let everyone know what I have been working on. I am currently on my second Donzi as my first was a 1998 22 daytona. My newest Donzi is a 1999 26 ZX that I am in the process of installing a 502 that has been bored and stoked to a 540. I have taken the stock heads and had them ported, polished, and blended. I installed a custom ground cam thanks to Mark at Precison Marine, 60 lb injectors from Marren, EMI Thunder exhaust and a M1 Procharger making roughly 5 psi of boost. I got the dyno numbers back and it is making 691 hp and 723 ft/lbs of torque.

Talk to the Hedgehog. I rode on his 26 this past weekend in the mid 80s. His best is 103. I believe he has a bit more HP under the hatch.

Welcome D-J

Look forward to hearing about your 26zx project. You will find everyone here on The Registry very helpful and overflowing with experience and Donzi knowledge. Keep us posted on the work, and again, welcome
I also bought a 1999 26zx this year as my second Donzi [my other one is a 22 classic]. I'm going to keep my 502 stock, because that is plenty enough for my needs.

Welcome Joey.

Cool 26ZX. We need pics. I think that if you spend some time with it you can get some more out of it with that hp.

Got the motor in the boat and it is running, now just have to take it out and test run it.
