I posted this this morning, a pic I took coming across from the cottage. It came in last night. If you saw it, nevermind, if you didn't, I thought the pic itself was nice so I am putting it up as a separate post :)

A "happy-thought" kind of post :)

This fella IS Bayliner.

Poodle, I know you saw it, I'm not talking to you :D

Correction: This fella WAS Bayliner. He sold off to Brunswick years ago and got into the Mega-yacht business.

Probably a smart move.

If I recall the story...something like sold for 520 Million, only had 20 Million in debt...you can do the math :-)

He has a home on the same lake as my parents...currently listed for something like 4-5 million...Unfortunately, on a 2 mile long lake with a median price of under 1 million, I think it's going to be sitting for awhile...

Cannes is nice this time of year Poodle :) ( if you can stand French food, don't mind a total block language barrier, and paying $1.50 to take a crap )

I'd pass. :D

When Elaine and I visited some friends in Britain a few years ago,
we visited Harrods in London like all the other stupid tourists.
I had to take a leak and found the door to the mens room was
guarded by the London equivalent to "Guido the Bouncer".
He wanted me to pay 1 BPS ($2.00 at the time) to pee!:nilly::frown::confused:
Well, I eventually paid as the alternative probably would have envolved
wetting down Guido's shoes, but I told him what I thought about it
and that we unpolished, uncultured colonials had laws against such things.
