A good portion, in excess of 75% are sitting in my warehouse. I scarf them up as they become available or abandoned. Kind of like dumpster diving or flea marketing... Get em for a few bucks most of the time.

Soon as I can get some venture capital accrued and a qualified work force rounded up we're going to be introducing these old hulls back into the public realm. They'll be extremely high end, except of course the Bayliner models... Might actually just vacuum mold those hulls... But I have yet to get a reasonable and reliable source for polymer sheet that large.

Cool. (Yell if you have the Nova 24 mold--some day I want to pop a fresh one out.)

Depends on what you are looking for and how much you want to spend. I am kind of a hoarder... My wife hopes it's just a phase... But it has shown no signs of slowing for the past 15 years or so.

to date I have I believe at last count 143 different molds. A few are duplicates though.

Me thinks maybe I should be looking for high points of land on which to place my feet! :cool!::wink:

I have 3 18 molds. 1 barrel back and 2 dating from the 70's. The BB mold dates pretty early. It has signs of different experiemental modifications that have been done, a few inserts that go with it such as making a round bottom barrel back, strake inserts, etc.

Formula 233 molds are MIA if they exist at all.

Give it up Bro. WellCraft got them and all the inventory. They probably sucked the dust off the floor before they left. Thats why Dave's Nova (Brownies old demo boat) was labeled a WellCraft for all those years.

However, if you want to discuss old molds that actually exist...

Thats how they got the Rounded keel, By filling in the hull mold, Brownie Himself and someone else did it (I should have listened better)

Only one BB, that we know of, ever came with a rounded keel from the factory. Everything else was sharp until 68 when they re-designed the hull to look like a larger 16...

Could be where they just tried it to see if it was going to be a success...

a combination of Dauley and Tuxedo PK all wrapped up in one, all over again.

Would it be a good time to talk about the Sonic El Pescador molds?

Seriously though, I wonder what happens to the current 16 and 18 molds, if Donzi is going to focus only on trying to build the 22? Last time I was at the factory, the 16 hull mold was sitting outside, right side up, collecting rain. I just shook my head and walked on.

... long story ...

basically, there are no molds to speak of around in quantities that you refer to.
