I just want to know if POODLE is giving me 13.5 points (latest spread) in the Miami OSU game for $100.
And we can bet the over under also....
Let me know POODLE, if he declines I will entertain other Fla folks.....
Happy Holidays.

POODLE, I see.... just thought I would stir up the college football pot a bit for fun, I know your a big fan of college ball.
OSU has came soo close on several occasions, maybe luck will be with us this year.
The Polls guys are all on Crack anyway, yep, #2 and undefeated!

Ok, anyone else feeling lucky in Fla? I will take one bet on the spread.

I will pass on the payable to the board on this one.
I will probably loose my butt on the game, most are giving 10 here but not 13.

Just whining about the rankings....
Have fun at the game, wish we could be there.

We have 10 this morning in the pool. Scott and Bryan, I didn't see your names! This is free to everyone. Create a team and join the Donzi Fanatics in some holiday fun. You Donzi girls should enter also and help Toona in the quest for a female Champion. You must be entered by Dec. 23rd . Even if you could care less about football, you might show us who think we are experts on the game a few things. Good luck to all who have entered and HAPPY HOLIDAYS from the Midwest Donzi Club!

I did it, that was not easy to get everything right. However since I still have not got a Donzi shirt, even after buy a new boat. It would be nice to win one. Thanks Boldts for puting this together.

Well, we now have 11 in the pool. Welcome Scott - X18's. Since some seem to want some cash as an award for their picks, To lure a few more into the fun, I'll offer an option of $25 or the tee-shirt to the top 3 in the pool. Hint, Hint, Bryan. Now, do you have enough guts to still take OSU over Miami? I'll let you know from what I've seen of the entrants so far, I've got a lot riding on that game. If by some miracle, I win this pool, I'll be donating my winnings to Donzi.net . The money that is. Just a simple way to say Thank-you for all the Harbormaster does for us. All in good fun and something for you all to talk about on the chat site. GOOD LUCK everyone!

Ya Know Scott, I wanted to add "Besides the Buckeyes" to the end of that sentence, but I thought I better not stir up the pot!

Have a great time in Tempe and at the Fiesta Bowl. Beth really wishes we were going, but the money saved will be useful next summer. Besides, all I need is a couple cold ones, a recliner, a warm fire in the fireplace, and 2 Donzi girls to share the game with! :D

Scotts,

I picked the Big 10 Buckeyes out of obligation to the conference, and if I'm right I will score 26 points! But it will be a tough game against an awesome opponent.

It will also be fun to watch the game because I ran a 100 square football pool and bought about 6 squares myself. This pool is unique, I called it a 50/50 pool, because we will give $500 of it to a foreign exchange student we had last year who is now at Barton Community College in the middle of Kansas playing soccer and tennis for them. He flew back to Michigan thanks to his foster mom, but he's on a real tight budget and this should make it easier for him to enjoy the holidays.

The updates will be fun to track...keep 'em coming Scott & Beth and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

11 - S. Boldt - GridIron 22 Classic - 3 pts - 2 wins
12 - T. Floyd - VolDog - 1 pt - 1 win
13 - Celene - Dawgs? - 0 pts - 0 wins

After game # 2 of 26, we now have only 6 teams who remain undefeated. How-ever, because of the point system used in the pool, not all 6 of these teams are at the top. 24 more games to go. Can all 6 of these teams remain undefeated along with the BUCKEYES? :D

Back in the real world the Miami spread has slid to 14 here in Va....

POODLE I will be thinking of you at the game.

I still disagree with the polls, it is not how many wins in a row but who you play, points given up etc. OSU had 6 close calls so maybe deserves their spot.
For now Miami has the vote, I can only hope OSU does well.

Jim Dannreuther continues to lead the pool with another perfect day. In an interview after the games, Coach Dannreuther had this to say: "How could Hawaii have lost at home in their own stadium?" It was obvious that game still had a thorn in the coaches side. As probably quite a few other coaches in the pool.

The GridIron 22 team needs some help from the Rebels now. "Those darn corn boys let us down today!" "Oh well, there's always tomorrow!"

Great job Jim!

Where did you put in? What were the ramp and lake levels like? Rumor has it that Toona is in great shape, if you don't mind some debris. I was dying to get out today, even on a lowly mumblebassmumble boat... ended up playing with horses instead. Bummer about the impellor, but at least you found out now and have plenty of time to get it fixed before the truly glorious Georgia weather arrives.

If J. Danreuther picked SC and Miami he is catchable, isn't he...presuming the Big Ten runs the table? So he must not have those two picks, if I am reading S. Boldt's message correctly.

Down to the last college bowl football game and it's for all the glory in the NCAA. Champion of the whole country for a year. While first and second in our pool are wrapped up, 3rd on down can still change with tonights outcome. and since possibly up to 6th place could receive a prize depending on the winning teams choice between a shirt or $25, there is a lot riding on the game tonight for the pool teams also. Good luck everyone! May the best prepared team come out on top tonight.

VolDog has a possible 194 with a Miami win

Game # 26 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl

Ohio State University and new National Champions - 31
Miami - 24

What a game! That's about all I can say. We're all pretty speechless here in OH. 14 - 0 and the first National Championship in 34 years. The parties went well into the night!

Now, for our pool winners. Look for an e-mail from me in the next couple days with your choice of one of the Midwest Donzi Club's 2002 AOTH II gathering t-shirts or $25 in cash. Either way you want it. Congrats to everyone who joined the pool, it really was a fun way to enjoy the games for me. The points awarded for the wins is what really kept everyone in it at least until game 25. Lets see Basketball is only a few more months away? Of course one of my favorites NASCAR begins next month.

I'd like to thank the Habormaster for letting us keep this on the Performance page. I probably should have put it on the Other Topics page. If the top 3 don't choose the money and there is still a $25 award available by round 4, my award will be coming to you. As a Donzi club president, I really appreciate all you do for us!
