Just got back from a great trip up there. Spent 5 days boating around the Apostle Islands. All I can say is WOW! Unbelievable place. Great Boating, increadible scenery, and hardly any boaters. Felt like you had the place to yourself.

Boat ran great other than a minor ground issue in the motor which was quickly fixed. Burned 151 gallons of fuel in 5 days of boating. We covered almost all the islands. Boat handled the big lake awesome. Launched from the mainland in Washburn Wisconison during a small craft advisory. 4 to 6 foot seas. Traveled 12 miles to Madeline Island and put in Madeline Island Yacht Club for the week. Other than that the weather was great. Not always sunny but nice enough to go boating.
If you are ever in Washburn Wisconson do yourself a favor and stop at DaLou's Bistro. They have a wood burning oven and turn out some great food.
Great great trip.
