View Full Version : COOLING HELP WITH DIAGRAM

I repiped the engine to the following configuration with thermostat. Took her out and guess what.. no water from exhaust and of course hot engine. Did I do this correctly. I need help quick as its getting cold in the ozarks.

Actually I fixed it. The tags are a bit different.

Can you post a pic of your actual configuration?

Sure you have the inlet and outlet sides of the pump correct?

Are you running a t-stat? If so, remove it and try again. Does your housing have a bypass built in?

You need a by pass and a T-stat eith 3 3/16 holes in it.

Your diagram leaves a bit to be desired, what is the note on the upper outlet to hull FTS? your intake water should go direct to the pump inlet then to the thermostat housing, one large hose from below that to the circ pump. The Therm housing should have two small outlets to the manifolds. If you don't know which is the inlet take two short hoses of both pump fittings into two fair sized cans filled with water, crank it up for short the empty can is the inlet side of the pump.
