16 fuel pump

After years of faithful service the electirc fuel pump in my 4.3 liter sixteen quit. Rather than replace it with a new Merc unit, i'm considering after market stuff. Anyone want to give advice as to what to use in this application. I was considering something in Holley for marine use. Know it's gonna take some re-rigging but I'm game.

For what your goning to spend on a holly you may as well go back to the replacement pump..

I decided to go with the Holley blue marine pump. The description says it's internally regulated so there is no need for an exteranl regulator. That said, is the installation as simple as it seems, that is, mount the pump, replace the lines, hookup power and go? Am I missing something?
