Early Hull number # info needed

Where do I find the hull serial ID # on an early Donzi 16 ?
Is there a way for me to decode this number as to year and model ?
Which outdrive Brands & Models were used in the 60s & 70s
I wish to do a period correct restoration on an early Donzi
I want to be sure that the outdrive is the correct origional Make & model and not a replacment.
Are there any websie photo listings anywhere showing each early model
ie:barrelback, Hornet, X, 16, 18 etc?
I am new to the vintage 60s & 70s Donzi collector market.

Everything that is known about Donzi is on this site! Do some searches and some of the more knowledgeable will chime in with answers! You can start by looking at the back side of the dash and up by the bow eye for numbers in magic maker then glassed over.
