My 67 BB came with incorrect end pieces on the cockpit side rails. The ones I have are low and the rails bow down at the ends. I am looking for the taller ones so the rails remain parallel to the deck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Tom
It's a work in progress.

Just thinking here, would lower middle pieces do just as well?

With the hand rails the way they are it is all but impossible to hold on to the front foot or so of the rail, nor the rear part either. The tubing is so close to the deck the only part you can actually use as a hand rail is in the middle, where no one sits. DonziVol just e mailed me and he has a lead on a set that may be for sale. Thanks Phil, there may be a set in one of those links that will work too. Tom

Do they bolt on from under the deck or are they drilled through so you can use screws into the fiberglass from topside. I can't see any screw holes in the pictures. Tom

The ones from Discount Marine and the originals bolt from the bottom side. Most of the ones available are through bolted so you might want the ones from Discount. They are a little bit of a pain to bolt up from the bottom side, though. Jamie from Lakeside can get you a set like the originals as well. Bill

I need ones that screw in from topside. No way to get in there to bolt from underneath. Not may fat arse anyway. I saw some on the West Marine web site. I will check them out tomorrow to see if they are the same height as the center towers so the rails remain parallel to the deck. Tom.

Tom, I was able to get all underneath my old 16'......of course that was 30 pounds or so ago. I'll betcha I could still get up behind there and, if not, I still have a daughter and son smaller than me!

I say get the ones that appear stock to the boat and we'll worry about fastening them afterwards! :kingme:
