Had achance to have some dinner and drinks out here with the Great wise one " Zelatore ", had a nice time and it was nice to meet him. Kind of a cool place to eat as well...rumor has it that it was a brothel back in the 20's...Fat Lady's. He has it going on for sure ...nice hardware at the marina and living on the boat during the week...what a life!

Thanks again for the hospitality! give me a buzz if you get to th east coast.

Elaine and I met up w/Don about 16 months ago.
He took us for a ride (Nice long ride to Richmond and a tour of SF) on a new 43' motor yacht and we bought him lunch!

I think we got the better end of that deal.

Of course if he ever shows up in Florida.........

Yes, unfortunately my schedule did not allow me that opportunity the last time I was out there. Glad you could though.

Don, come to the East Coast sometime. We need to meet our West Coast Brethren!

Hey, some of my inventory was actually big enough LRT could stand up straight! That's no easy feat!

I think we found a couple boats for him to consider. I'm sure he'll post photos soon enough after he gets a chance to run them by Senior Hedgehog.

It was good to meet you Brian - one of these days I'll have to get back east. Give me a little more head's up the next time you're coming out this way and I'll try to schedule something that will require a sea trial on the bay

He will either measure up or not.

Returning to the darkside can be dicey though. I have a few that are probably best left alone.

34, 35, 36?! That's sideshow material.

Stay clear of the serpentine belt when it's running. Better yet, you might wanna just nail the motorbox shut.

Hey, as I said back in college. Anything is possible with the proper synthetics. It is all good!

Agreed, people should think of it like "resto-mod."

(Speaking of which, we need a succinct version of "glass half-full/half-empty", based on an implants metaphor. Maybe "Awww, they're fake/OH-MAMA!!" Or something.)

Resto mods are good.

I will have to work on that one. There are some good possibilities. If I could derive some sort of meter it would be even better. It would probably have to be in some sort of UC section though.
