I have what I think is a 66 sweet 16 with 302 and H-M outdrive. I am looking for a parts source for the outdrive. I need a boot now. New to this site so be gentile to the newby.

Ok, can anyone identify this boat. It had no manufactures plate or #s?

not really sure, looks like a volvo outdrive( it should have a silver tag on the top by the dipstick screw) that tag will tell you what you have.
it has a funky shift cover on it.

other things that seem odd

no floor locker

the rub rail could have been replaced

the dash not right but again could have be reworked

the opening in the fore deck by the ski locker looks off seems to square

and the angle of the reverse facing fwd passenger seat back like to steep should have more of reclined angle to it


if it is a 66 the motor and drive are not original nor is the 4 clamshell vents.

the 16 is one of the most copied boats without finding a hull number on the dash or by the bow eye it is going to be hard to say it is a donzi

I have only seen one like that before, that back is quite different from later Volvo's, that is a Volvo/Eaton. I know very little about the relationship but they did work together early on.
