Hello everyone I'm a new owner of my first Donzi. It's a 1988 Ragazza 25 and is in good shape. Since I was a kid I have allways wanted a Donzi even though a Sweet 16 witha big block is what I want for the family a R25 will have to do. I now boats very well but I just want to check with others, I know allot but I'm man enough to say I dont know everything.
My next step is a leak down, and timing the boat starts a little hard when warm so Its advanced a little to much but not enought to take out 1000 rpm the boat is on mooring so its a pain in the ass to work on (row out forget a tool row in and get it)

So here is my problem 5.7 will only rev to 3400

post the leak down results. They may tell something.

How do the plugs look? Are they all even and tan as they should be? Any smoke or dirty transom?
