270T Volvo water pick-up problem

Anyone got this set-up on there Volvo drive, for the flexible connection, between the outdrive and the transom? As you can see, the hose (Bought from the Factory) gets a kink in it after about a year or two. I have replaced it several times with the same result.

Trim the hose to get the kink out. mine goes to the starboard side,are they giving you the rite side hose?

Wrong hose, thats a 290 hose.

Anyone got the correct hose part # for a 270T? The local boat dealer near me isn't much help. They sell Bayliners, so I don't expect much.

You have a odd beast with a 270T. Your best bet is to shorten the hose you have. But just in case they are different go here http://216.37.204.206/Shorts/Volvo_oem/Volvo.asp?Type=13&A=7&B=143 your hose is #50 and 26 bucks.

Bite the bullet and put a transom pickup on, the best fix for any stern drive.
