Hello all,
Took the Hornet out today for some prop testing. After initial warm up of engine. I checked the eng compartment for anything obviously wrong before a hard run. To my horror, I found that the transmission was hemoraging fluid from between the motor and trans. My first thought was the front oil seal. However, I did replace this seal upon the rebuild of this boat. Just a few months ago.
Does anyone have any ideas as to where the oil may be leaking?? Rebuilt motor and old trans have 35 hrs on them since the rebuild. I did not add any oil in the past few times on the water. No water in trans fluid. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Thanx,
Flying Tomato

If it is engine oil it is not the transmission unless somebody put regular oil in the trans if that is so you got an issue.
