Smith MOuntain Lake Virginia

I am at Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia on a weeks vacation, got here Sat. afternoon splashed boat Sunday morning saw three 28ZX's one scorpion edition:yes::yes:, and a 29 black widow (great shape)... first time on this lake and it is very very nice.

If anyone on the board boats here and is bord shoot me an email....maybe we can run together.....:nilly::):)

Southeast of the Halesford bridge is best area, the northwest side gets narrow. Best food is at The Landing, good drinks at the bridge and also the Tikki bar by the state park. Plenty of bass boats to run against, you will also find people with kids named "#3" or "#24".

Looks like a really nice lake, definitely on my top 5 list of places to go!
