We stayed at the Walloon Lake Inn for our anniversary. Great place and a great lake. I was told that it has the third-highest property values of any lake in Michigan...and it was evident!
Trouble is, they seem to have some kind of thing for colored boat canopies. The one pic shows an example, but there were dozens of very outlandish color schemes. This, coupled with their 3-5 boat width, made for kind of a gaudy look...in my humble opinion.
Talked briefly with the owner of a great looking '72 Ski Sporter. Original HM 289, and it sounded fantastic. I didn't get a real close look, but from what I did see it was original and very clean.
