Sandy Hook Recommendations

Planning a little cruise from NYC down to Sandy Hook NJ... Sea Bright area. Anyone know where I can dock for the day and hang out on the ocean side at the beach?

I called a few marinas and go nowhere.

No clue on dockage, you will have to ask as you go. I have run quite a bit of the inside stretch and a few of the rivers, some very nice running and some very pretty places up the rivers.

Yeah, apparently 20' is too small for pretty much everyone.

Last guy said he wouldn't even be able to tie it up, 36' minimum.

Are there beaches you can land on?

Sandy Hook has a lot of beach area inside, but once you get into the canal there is not to many places. There are a few restaurants that may let you hang for awhile after a hardy meal!!!
