I'm wondering if it's a variation on the African thingie.......

if you get this kind of stuff here are a couple of steps...

Google the 'from' email address. generally you'll find a bunch of crap out there with a similar email.

If that comes up negative, google any generic parts of the ad. I this case, I'd do "I will like to make inquiry about" It's odd Engrish. google longer if you can. many times you can come up with an identical email.

99% of the ones I see you can figure out with those two steps. hope that helps

Yeah, I get about one of those a week. That's fine - I think anybody with half a brain would see nothing but red flags with that sort of thing.

Of course, when my boss gets one, he immediately forwards it to me with a note to get right on it...:bonk:

we email 'em right back that we only accept bank transfers for export transactions and ask if that is acceptable... must not be, because we NEVER hear from them again...

Just a note,

When receiving suspicious email, DO NOT OPEN. Just delete them. With email programs allowing scripting you could open yourself up to a mess. At the very least, you will inform the sender this is a valid email.
