What a great looking boat. Bid to $7500 with 5+ days left. Wonder where it will end up at?

According to my list, it was owned by Rod Lafond in NH, and not in L.I., NY

Hard to keep up w/these things.

There has been a decent visual by a member, only thing he was a bit unsure of liking was the interior was sprayed white with Vinyl spray. Said the job was done well but it was to bright, no rips or tears!

After spending a day with cutwater and his Testa Minx a few weeks ago, I'm reeeeeally wanting a Minx! I just might have to pick one up down the road. Of course that is AFTER we finish up the triple (had some fiberglass fun yesterday )

Rick Ryan used to talk about a Minx around here that had really big power - but I've never seen it. I think the owner may have a big Cig also

Seriously, the owner offered the boat for 10k while the auction was going on. There was a $9,000 bid on the auction so I figured they worked something out. But if it is back on Craigslist, I am driving close by it on our way to Boston and I believe Mop is not too far away from it also. I am out at 10k but would be glad to look at it for anyone that is interested. Minx are wonderful, we are going to pick up 2 of them in the next week or so. Both of them will be more expensive than this one at 10k though. Let me know if I can help by looking at it for anyone. Mishunaire@aol.com

I spoke to the owner this week.He tells me its super clean. Just rebuilt the 350 and outdrive with new gimball bearings... soup to nuts.
To be honets seems too good to be true... Maybe I should just hole out for the 22 classic I really want.
Can anyone tell me the differences between the 2 besides thebig block and about 20k
Thanks

Jersey to Long Island, I'd go look at it. If it's still available, that is, the CL ad is gone.

Good luck either way.:pimp:

This boat is back for sale. The same owner says $5700.00 will buy it. Seems to good to be true. Going thru ebay motors. He says he will deliver the boat and if it doesnt meet my expectations,I can return within 5 days. I need help here, it seems that other boats like this are $15,000 plus. What is going on guys?

You are correct. I know of 2, and maybe a 3rd Minx that sold for over $15,000 the end of last summer.

The ones that go for big bucks are pretty nice original or restored boats...I got $18K for mine.
Most are in need of a lot of work....remember they are all over 20 years old and haven't had the best of care. You'll pay now or pay later.
Or just be frustrated.:boggled:
