Saw this in the 1000 islands last weekend

real nice red ZX pretty sure it was a 38

Shea, I think Aquamania did some of the first Donzi ZR Ilmor boats. Last time I was up there, there was a 35ZR running around with a set.

Never forget the look on people's faces standing on the dock at the Edgewood when it went by, "What the heck was that?"

Sounded like a swarm of angry bees. Very quick.

Aquamania just ran 204.something a week or so ago in his turbine cat up on the river. I believe it was the Monday after the A Bay Poker Run.

They ran 204.56 on the Sunday after the Poker Run, and that is a 38ZR Ilmor boat. They also have a ZRC with Arnesons poking around somewhere.
Was real quiet up there the last couple of days.
Shea, next time you are heading down, give me a shout.
Xman, we were out for awhile on the 1st, but land based after that, too much rain.

Swarm of angry bees is about right. It is kind of a cool sound though

Wouldn't that be a 35zr since the engines are side by side.

I'd love to see the Zrc with Arnesons, that has to fly.

I'm pretty sure you could get a 38 in non staggered trim. It's standard power is twin HO 496's, side by side.

I thought they all came staggered with 525 being the smallest available, never seen one any other way. Plus the socket for the stern light is different than the 38's I've seen.
Very cool with Illmors no matter what length it is.
