Sorry for all the questions:)

Looking to order this engine today but my mechanic is worried that the exhaust sits higher compared to my 454 and that the hatch may not shut, anyone got any advice on if it will clear or not? or a pic of one installed?

Quick thought!!!! Will your boat have the width between the stringers as mentioned in the 22 X dimension post? It was said that the 496 was wider due to accessories!!

I dont know, the guy above has one fitted and is hopefully getting me some pics monday, if i cant be sure it will fit im going to get my mechanic to start rebuilding my 454 next week.
