I got my boat back last night. I had a new cover and interior put in. The guy even built me a bucket seat as well.

Well done, modern, yet keeping with tradition - looks like the 2012 model.

thanks, now I just have to put the engine in, fix the wiring, and finish the drive so I can put it in the lake.

Looks very nicely done.

Just curious, what made you decide to go with a black/yellow cockpit cover, instead of white/yellow matching the boat?

I didn't want a white cover because it will get dirty quick. The trees by me are real messy figured I should go with gray or black. The guy that did the cover put the stripe on.

Nice piping and color combo.
What engine do you have that requires the great big hole in the hatch?
What does your hatch vent look like?

Great screen name, by the way...it could work for several hundred of us on this site alone!

When I got the boat it had a 383 with a high rise intake. But I am putting a stock 350 in it for now just so I can get the boat in this year. I am going to rebuild the 383 this winter. I am going to make a scoop to cover up the hole. That hole is just ugly. Yea the screen name is pretty original haha. It worked for when I had my other 16 though.

For those that may not know, his red Donzi is the future "Crazy Chinese Chicken". Captain Holtzclaw's next project.
