Shanghied Again

Today was a bad day, with economic times and with the rising cost of everything. I was forced to shut down the N/E Donzi Club I just can't afford the $595 Year and the $49 month to run the site. I started the North East Donzi club in 1998 and 10 years later she is now gone. I still have the love for Donzi and thank everyone for attending 1000 Islands years ago a special thank you to Boxy.

Was that $600 + $50/month in hosting fees? Not sure what resources the N/E Donzi Club website was consuming... Maybe there is a lower cost or maybe even free option to host the site?

For instance... GoDaddy offers hosting starting at $5/mo all the way to their "unlimited" plan at $15.mo.

And you can easily transfer the domain name between hosting sites... For the amount of traffic I would imagine you get, $1200/year seems like a lot...

There are much better options. I use goDaddy and they work great for $50 a year.

I have a guy that will do it for way less than that. or godaddy, or a bunch of others.

Heck, Google does it for free now if you are not too picky about site design.
