there is an aftermath pic out there

driver and son as passenger survived... walked away....

the main hit was on the outside left corner of the cab

Horrible way to spoil a possible vacation, glad they made it out Ok! But in looking at the clip a couple of times would that roof have survived a storm?

if I remember the story from the RV net correctly the guy just picked up this 5th wheel brand new from a dealership next door, or across the street, and then this happened... there was some litigation concerning the engineering of the overhang and also that the overhang was not marked with a specific clearance sign of any sort..

I have to agree with one of the posters on the other forum. The building was made like crap. There is no way it should have fell down. We had a tractor trailer hit our big sign out front. It tore the sign up and the truck but it never fell like that house of cards.
